Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of VexEdu, a school management platform provided by Vexanto ("we", "us", "our"). By using VexEdu, a school, its staff, or its parents ("you") agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

VexEdu provides tools for school administration, including attendance tracking, fee management, exam scheduling, homework tracking, and communication between schools and parents, accessible via web browser and Android app.

2. Accounts

• Each school is responsible for creating and managing accounts for its own staff, teachers, parents, and students.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
• Schools are responsible for the accuracy of the student and staff data they enter into the Service.

3. Subscription & Billing

• Access to VexEdu is billed to schools on a per-student basis, at the rate agreed with each school.
• Invoices are generated periodically based on the school's active student count.
• Non-payment may result in suspension of a school's access to the Service, with notice provided in advance where reasonably possible.

4. Online Fee Payments

Where a school enables online fee payment, transactions are processed by Razorpay. We are not a party to the underlying payment transaction between a parent and their school, and we do not guarantee the availability or performance of Razorpay's services. Disputes about a specific fee payment should first be raised with the school, which can see and manage its own fee records.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to violate anyone's rights.
• Attempt to access data belonging to a school, student, or parent you are not authorized to see.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service's operation or security.

6. Data Ownership

Each school owns the data it enters into VexEdu (student records, attendance, fees, etc.). We act as a service provider processing this data on the school's behalf, as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or occasionally experience downtime.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Vexanto is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the fees paid by the relevant school in the preceding three months.

9. Termination

A school may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, misuse, or violation of these Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Punjab, India.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
